Born in 1968, in Tokyo, to a Japanese mother and a Vietnamese father, Nguyen-Hatsushiba spent his early years in Japan. After moving to U.S.A., he earned MFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Mount Royal School of Art. Currently, he resides and works in Ho Chi Minh City.

Nguyen-Hatsushiba is one of the most exciting Asian artists in recent years. His works combines visual beauty and attitude of calm pursuit to social problems that continues to capture the heart of many people in the world. This is his first solo show in China, so please enjoy the works of Nguyen-Hatsushiba maintaining energetic activity.
